This uses R to compute a sample of size 10 from a standard normal distribution and then JavaScript "formats" them in the frame on the right. It also computes the mean and puts this in the lower-right frame.

Clicking this button generates a single random normal observation (as an integer) and writes it to the Java console. You can open that via the Communicator->Tools->Java Console menu.
